The   "University of the Third Age" is a nationwide organisation devoted to providing further education and leisure pursuits for the older citizen. 

    Courses & classes take place in the villages of Haxby & Wigginton. Venues may be in public buildings and also in people's homes - often all for the price of a cup of coffee.

  This is Your local,  Self Help University - we share skills, friendship & knowledge. 

    No qualifications are needed and there are no exams to take.
