ART

      During the autumn and winter  months the "Haxby and Wigginton U3A Art Group", meet each Monday afternoon between 13.30hrs & 15.30hrs in the Haxby & Wigginton  Methodist Church Hall -  Car parking at the rear. The cost is usually £2.00 pp for cost of the venue. The artists use a variety of mediums that include watercolours, acrylics, pencil drawing and oil colours.

     The group is mainly a self-help group: there is no formal tuition, however there is expertise available for the asking. Artists are encouraged to do their own thing.  Artists provide their own materials. It is a very pleasant social affair with a break for tea or coffee and biscuits. The only requirement is that you should enjoy yourself.

     The spring session will commence in the hall on Monday 11th January at 13.30hrs.
